Set Up Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) on the OneMoneyWay Web App

1. Visit the OneMoneyWay Web App in your browser.
2. Enter your Username and Password.
3. Click Login.

Step 2: Set Up 2FA

After logging in, you’ll see the Identity Verification screen. Click Scan QR Code.

You will be shown both a QR Code and a secret Recovery Key. You can set up 2FA using either method below:

🔐 Important: Save your Recovery Key (shown on the screen) in a secure place. You’ll need it if you ever lose access to your phone or authentication app.

Option 1: Scan the QR Code (Requires a Second Device)

This is the default and easiest method. If you have a second device (like a tablet or another phone), you can scan the QR code shown on your computer screen.

1. On your phone, open an authentication app (Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, or Authy).
2. Choose the option to add a new account using a QR Code.
3. Point your phone’s camera at the QR code displayed on your computer screen.
4. Your OneMoneyWay account will be added to the app, which will begin generating a 6-digit code.

Option 2: Use the Setup Key (Manual Entry)

If you don’t have a second device to scan the QR code, or you’ve lost access to your previous phone or authentication app, you can manually enter the Recovery Key instead.

1. Copy the Recovery Key shown on your computer screen.
2. Open your authentication app (Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, or Authy).
3. In your authentication app, choose the option to add a new account using a Setup Key (manual entry).
4. Name the account “OneMoneyWay” and paste the copied key, then save.
5. Your OneMoneyWay account will be added to the app, which will begin generating a 6-digit code.

Step 3: Enter the 6-Digit Code

After setting up your authentication app, return to the OneMoneyWay web app.

1. Click Two-Factor Authentication.
2. In your authentication app, find the 6-digit code for OneMoneyWay.
3. Enter the code in the Enter Code box on your screen.
4. Click Verify.

✅ 2FA is now enabled!

When logging in, after entering your username and password, you’ll be asked to verify your identity. You can use either of the following methods to verify your login. Choose whichever is more convenient:

Option 1: Use an Authentication App

1. Open your authentication app (e.g., Google Authenticator).
2. Find the 6-digit code for OneMoneyWay.
3. Enter the code in the OneMoneyWay web app.
4. Click Verify.

Option 2: Use the OneMoneyWay Mobile App

1. On the Identity Verification screen, click OneMoneyWay Mobile-App Authentication.
2. Click Send.

3. You’ll receive a push notification on your phone from the OneMoneyWay mobile app.
4. Open the push notification, or go to the app’s main menu (☰ icon in the top-left corner), then tap Settings > Two Factor Authentication.

5. Enter the 6-digit code shown in the app into the OneMoneyWay web app.
6. Click Verify.

• Make sure the 6-digit code hasn’t expired (it refreshes every 30 seconds).
• Didn’t receive a push notification? Open the app manually and find the code under Settings > Authentication Code in the side menu (☰).
