Remove Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) from Your OneMoneyWay Account
Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) adds an extra layer of security to your account. If you no longer wish to use 2FA or have lost access to your authentication app, follow the steps below.
Remove OneMoneyWay from Your Authentication App
Open your authentication app (Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, or Authy) and follow the steps based on the app you’re using:
Google Authenticator
- Open the Google Authenticator app.
- Swipe left on the OneMoneyWay account.
- A prompt will appear.
- Tap Remove account to confirm.
Microsoft Authenticator
- Open the Microsoft Authenticator app.
- Tap the OneMoneyWay account.
- Tap the gear icon in the top-right corner.
- Tap Remove account.
- Confirm by tapping Remove account again.
Authy
- Open the Authy app.
- Swipe left on the OneMoneyWay account.
- Tap the red recycle bin icon.
- Confirm by tapping Delete in the prompt.
How to Regain Access Using Your Recovery Key
If you removed the OneMoneyWay entry by mistake, you can re-enable 2FA on your new or current device using your Recovery Key.
- Copy your Recovery Key (the one shown during 2FA setup).
- Open your authentication app (Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, or Authy).
- In your authentication app, choose the option to add a new account using a Setup Key (manual entry).
- Name the account “OneMoneyWay” and paste the copied key, then save.
- Your OneMoneyWay account will be added to the app, which will begin generating a 6-digit code.
- Use that code to log in and continue using 2FA as usual.
